IAT Insurance Group has an immediate opening for a Principal Workday Solutions Architect to join our team in Naperville, Illinois. This role will be crucial in managing and optimizing our Workday system, ensuring seamless integration and collaboration across departments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both HR and IT, with excellent communication skills to facilitate effective cross-departmental coordination. This role will work a hybrid schedule from the office Monday through Wednesday, with the option of working remotely on Thursday and Friday.
- Manage and administer security profiles within the Workday system.
- Oversee and manage all cross-departmental dependencies related to Workday.
- Communicate Workday enhancements and provide recommendations on adoption.
- Assist the HRIS Administrator with custom projects in Human Capital Management (HCM).
- Handle system integrations with internal systems and external vendors.
- Provide second-level support and manage escalation processes.
- Adhere to existing support processes and work towards maturing these processes as needed.
- Build in-house knowledge of Workday and train and develop team members on its functionalities and best practices. The quicker we get a support model developed and people trained, the quicker the architect can get into other things.
- Perform other duties as needed.
- 8+ years of experience as a Workday Architect or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of HR processes and IT systems.
- Proven experience in managing and administering security profiles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently in support of workday needs for business needs.
- Experience with Workday HCM, Financials, and other modules.
- Knowledge of integration tools and techniques.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Workday certification is a plus.
