Responsibilities
- Maintains website content, functionality, and navigation, resolving technical issues to ensure a high-quality intranet and website experience.
- Analyzes user data to make improvements and recommendations, creating an engaging intranet and website experience.
- Report on key metrics such as: Pageviews, Traffic sources (organic, paid, referral, direct), Top-performing content, landing pages and site mapping.
- Supports the other digital media specialist by monitoring social media accounts and responding to questions or requests from followers.
- Co-creates and builds paid digital media campaigns utilizing online options such as Google integrations, campaign website landing pages, and tracking pixels.
- Create campaign reports, monitor ad effectiveness, and provide recommendations for future campaigns.
- Proficiency with email marketing platforms, such as Mailchimp, Constant Contact, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud, with the ability to design, schedule, and analyze newsletter campaigns effectively.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 3-year degree/diploma in a related field (i.e. Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations)
- Minimum of 2 years related experience.
- Proven experience in managing digital content across various platforms, including websites and social media networks.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics or similar tools for tracking online engagement.
- Experience in writing for online audiences.
- Up-to-date knowledge of current trends in digital marketing and social media.
- Experience in website content management; experience with iCreate, and SharePoint.
- Ability to implement digital and social media ad campaigns using platforms such as Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, Google, and others.
- Ability to work with internal customers to translate ideas into digital media strategies and creative concepts.
- Knowledge of issues management and crisis communications best practices to create and post digital media content.
- A people-first approach to providing excellent customer service to meet the needs of our followers.
- Ability to support and project values compatible with the organization and participate as an effective team member.
- Familiarity with government accessibility and privacy standards.
