The Package
- Starting salary of £20,000 per annum (increasing to National Minimum/Living Wage after 12 months)
- Overtime pay
- 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays
- Workings hours are Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm (flexibility required)

What will I be doing as an apprentice?
- Conduct all types of Asbestos Air Monitoring and 4 Stage Clearances in accordance with HSG248 guidance and in-house procedures on Client’s sites.
- Maintain effective communications between Clients, Contactors, Other representatives, and members of the public.
- Adhere to Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental Policies and procedures, always maintaining a professional approach.
- Participate in the internal Quality Control program and the external RICE scheme.

This apprenticeship can also help pave the way for further professional development and accreditation in asbestos management. You may choose to pursue recognised qualifications such as the P405 Asbestos Surveying Certificate, P402 Asbestos Management Awareness, or the P403 Asbestos Project Management qualification to advance your career.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
This is a very hands on and practical role so you should be willing to get stuck in and learn from the offset!
You might be a school or college leaver, or someone looking to retrain. Either way, if you’re enthusiastic, proactive, and ready to learn, you’ll fit right in.
Familiarity with site-based roles, tool handling or working on construction sites will be advantageous!

Eligibility

If you already hold a Level 3, degree or equivalent higher-level qualification in a closely related field, or possess substantial relevant experience, you may not be eligible for apprenticeship funding, as these programmes are designed for individuals who require upskilling or reskilling in their chosen career pathway.
