The Team
Welcome to Lush’s EC Department, where we create and supply the fragrances that shape the brand worldwide. Known for our “sweet smell of success” and the floral notes that fill our space, we’re a team of over 30 people spanning production, regulatory, quality, and support roles. Proudly the best-smelling team at Lush, we work together to protect the signature scents that make every Lush product unforgettable. In FY25, we reached a new milestone with 941 tons of EC shipped globally, an impressive 32% increase on our previous record set in FY21.

The Role
Oversees day-to-day production, ensuring products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and to quality standards. Supports and motivates team members, manages workflow, and coordinates with other teams to meet production targets. Acts as the first point of contact for resolving issues, maintaining compliance, and driving continuous improvement on the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support a team of production staff to achieve daily output targets.
  • Plan, allocate, and monitor workloads to maintain an efficient production flow.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.
  • Monitor product quality and address any deviations or issues promptly.
  • Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to team members.
  • Collaborate with Quality Control, Supply Chain, and other departments to meet schedules.
  • Maintain accurate production records and reports.
  • Drive continuous improvement in processes, safety, and team performance.
  • Act as the first point of contact for resolving on-shift operational challenges.
  • Promote a positive, safe, and inclusive working environment.
