As a member of our Advisory Team, you will play a pivotal role in our sales and business development efforts, with a primary focus on scoping and selling professional services. Your expertise will be crucial in helping customers adopt and maximize the value of our software. You'll work closely with our sales and pre-sales teams to create and close opportunities for our implementation and advisory services.
Your responsibilities will include:
Scoping and Selling Services: You will be responsible for defining the scope of professional services engagements, including implementation, integration, and advisory work. You'll work directly with customers to understand their business needs and translate them into a clear statement of work (SOW) and service proposal. Your goal is to ensure a smooth and successful project launch.
Contracting and SOW Creation: You will lead the creation and negotiation of contracts and SOWs for all professional services. This includes working with legal and finance teams to finalize terms, pricing, and project deliverables to align with both customer expectations and our business objectives.
Collaboration with Sales: Partner with the sales and pre-sales teams throughout the sales cycle to identify, qualify, and close services opportunities. You'll be the subject matter expert on our professional services, helping to articulate the value of our implementation methodology and advisory offerings to prospective clients.
Advisory Expertise: Provide strategic advisory services to customers, leveraging your deep understanding of the procurement landscape. This includes offering best practices, market analysis, and optimization strategies to help clients achieve their business goals.
Strategic Growth: Contribute to the overall growth of our professional services business by identifying new opportunities and helping to refine our services offerings based on market demand.
Qualifications
Proven experience in scoping, selling, and contracting professional services within the SaaS industry or direct experience implementing Zip.
Experience with writing and negotiating Statements of Work (SOWs) and services contracts.
Strong understanding of typical SaaS implementation lifecycles and methodologies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with both sales teams and clients.
A strategic thinker who can translate complex customer needs into well-defined professional services engagements.
