| Serve as the primary customer liaison for all quality-related matters within the assigned production unit. |
| Lead Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) activities for headliner components. |
|
| Manage sample submissions for new product introductions and engineering changes |
| Develop and maintain Control Plans, Inspection Instructions, Gage Instructions, and Process Failure Mode and Effects Analyses (PFMEAs). |
| Track and report key quality metrics, including scrap rates, rework levels, and customer complaints. |
| Lead structured problem-solving efforts for internal and external quality concerns, including product defects and process non-conformances. |
|
| Ensure team members are adequately trained to meet departmental objectives and quality standards. |
| Coordinate supplier quality activities, including managing supplier rejections, chargebacks, and PPAP documentation. |
|
| Apply statistical tools such as Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Measurement System Analysis (MSA) to monitor trends and drive continuous improvement. |
|
| Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions. |
|
| Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product and process quality. |
| Conduct internal audits and support external audits, including customer and third-party registrar assessments. |
|
| Audit manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and customer-specific requirements. |
| Comply with all safety regulations and environmental procedures, including ISO 14001 standards. |
| Any additional reasonable request deemed necessary by management. |

| Initiate actions to prevent the occurrence of product, process, or system nonconformities. |
| Identify and recommend solutions through appropriate channels. |
| Verify the implementation and effectiveness of corrective actions. |
| Control further processing or delivery of nonconforming products until issues are resolved. |
| Approve and sign PPAP Warrants. |
