WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Exemplifies MCR’s values and sets a great example by always demonstrating excellent guest service and professionalism.
- Practice, support and promote the mission, vision, and values of Muckleshoot Casino Resort.
- Greet and seat guests.
- Ensure cleanliness/organization around the Host/Cashier work areas, always keeping items stocked & presentable.
- Clean menus & bus tables as needed.
- Reconcile Casino-issued bank, following all policies and procedures applicable.
- Reconcile daily ‘end of shift’ financial transactions.
- Take “to go” food orders and prepare and present food items to guests as needed.
- Ensure accurate handling of all payment transactions where applicable and handling of cash.
- Assist in maintaining and ensuring proper food quality with all “to-go” orders.
- Monitor inventory levels and notify supervisor on replenishment needs.
- Provide excellent guest service and ensure a positive guest experience.
- Create, maintain, and facilitate a positive work environment; promotes positive team member relations and reports issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Ability to obtain a Class III B gaming license.
- 6 (six) months of restaurant server experience preferred.
- Entry-level training may be provided for candidates who demonstrate a passion for guest service; motivation to learn; and a professional demeanor.
- Must have and maintain a valid WA State health card/food handler permit.
- Must have and maintain a Class 12 or 13 Mast Certification required
HOW YOU’LL BE SUCCESSFUL
- Knowledge of health & safety standards, and safety regulations as required.
- Skilled in basic math by making correct changes and calculating daily receipts, per proper operating procedures.
- Ability to demonstrate excellent guest service skills.
- Ability to demonstrate a well-groomed presence and always maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
- Ability to follow specific instructions and handle stress under pressure. Read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Ability and willingness to maintain a clean, healthy, and safe working environment.
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
