Summary:
Supervises the credit card operations department staff
Education and/or Experience:
Associates degree or a minimum of four years directly related experience required
Minimum two years banking or customer service experience required
Knowledge and understanding of lending fundamentals, products, and procedures
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for day-to-day operations in one or more areas, including card issuance, interchange processes, and merchant deposit processing
Trains credit card operations staff and assists with the development and implementation of credit card operations and policies
Responds to inquiries from customers and banks regarding operational issues
Responsible for resolving escalated member/team issues
Receives applications from applicants online, in branch, by phone, or by third party vendor
Ensures that all credit card applications are processed correctly in the LOS and created in the credit card system
Responsible for ensuring all daily and monthly reposting is completed in a timely manner
Supports the consumer lending management team with other department functions and responsibilities
Responsible for completing the resolution of member disputes with credit bureaus related to credit cards
Responsible for monthly, quarterly and annual production reports
Participates in lending systems UAT programs
Tests new LOS functionality and reports defects uncovered
Makes recommendations on policy and procedure changes based on observation and specific scenarios in the lending environment
Assists consumer lending management team with underwriting of direct Consumer Loan applications
Identifies leads and opportunities for other Teachers products to deepen the member relationship
Assists management with applicable vendor relationships and coordinate with necessary vendors to ensure Credit Union products and services are meeting the needs of members

The good faith range for this position is $31.50 to $37.75 hourly. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications and operational needs. The salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
