Job Title: Customer Projects Manager


Trystar is seeking a highly skilled Customer Projects Manager to design, develop, and deliver custom-engineered critical power systems for some of the most demanding applications in the world. In this customer-facing role, you’ll work with Fortune 500 data centers, major utilities, hospitals, universities, and large commercial/industrial facilities - helping them safeguard operations with a wide breath of customized power solutions.

The Customer Projects Manager oversees a team of Project Specialists responsible for shepherding customer projects from initial request through successful completion. The Customer Projects Manager provides direction, coaching, and escalation support for the team, while also driving continuous improvement in processes, tools, and collaboration across departments. This position partners closely with the Customer, Sales, Engineering, and Operations to ensure that projects are delivered on time, with quality, and with exceptional customer satisfaction.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Project Specialists to achieve performance goals.
 • Manage hiring, onboarding, training, and career development within the team.
 • Foster a culture aligned with Trystar’s values.
 • Act as the primary escalation point for complex project and customer issues.
 • Oversee the pipeline of customer projects, ensuring prioritization, resourcing, and execution.
 • Ensure consistent use of project management best practices, tools, and reporting.
 • Track, analyze, and report project KPIs.
 • Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Operations teams.
 • Lead cross-functional communication and stakeholder updates.
 • Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and scalability.

What We’re Looking For:

Required:
 • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
 • 7–10 years in project management, customer experience, or related roles.
 • 3+ years of leadership experience.
 • Strong communication skills.
 • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, ERP systems, and CRM.
 
 Preferred:
 • Industry experience (Power Distribution, Power Transmission, Power Storage, etc)
 • PMP or equivalent certification.
 • Experience scaling high-performing teams.
 • Continuous improvement/Lean/Six Sigma knowledge.
