The work:
- Plan, design, develop, and test advanced data processing systems and dashboards within the CMS Agile XLC framework.
- Perform application enhancements and build new products in all layers of the application such as UI, Web Server, Application Server, Cloud Host, Database, Reporting, DevOps, and Application Monitoring using JEE, JBoss, Ruby on Rails, MarkLogic, Red Hat, AWS, Edifecs, and other EDI and data analytical products.
- Work in close collaboration with the Scrum Team to ensure compliance with proposed architecture and industry development standards and best practices.
- Perform code reviews and present at PDRs and DDRs.
- Support development of technical documentation. Support IT program requirements and metrics development, definition, data quality assessment, and strategic analysis.
- Collect and analyze data to produce forecasts, assessments, recommendations, and reports. Provide risk management support and metrics. Participate in the devising of project timelines, implementation design specifications, system flow diagrams, documentation, testing and ongoing support of applications.
- Develop and maintain modernized and legacy systems on COTS and Open Source tech stack using effective principles such as extreme programming (XP) and TDD. Identify, evaluate, tailor and direct the implementation of vendor-supplied software packages.
- Develop and maintain operational and system level documentation. Enhance software to reduce operating time or improve efficiency.
- Provide software conversion and implementation support. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in dev, test and production environments as part of Tier 3 support.
- Lead code reviews and Assist in planning, designing, developing, and testing advanced data processing systems and dashboards within the CMS Agile XLC framework.
Here's what you need:
- Ability to translate requirements into technical specifications, diagrams, and implement in conformance with architectural and business requirements.
- Apache Camel, Java, AWS (ideally lambda) and Angular knowledge
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering or Technical Science
Bonus points if you have:
- Quality assurance unit testing integration
- Experience with databases, SQL, data modeling
- Experience with performance tuning

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
