We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our team in a patient monitoring role, providing exceptional care to patients with diabetes using telecommunications. As a Patient Monitoring Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting healthcare professionals in delivering comprehensive and personalized diabetes care.
Overview of the Role
The Clinical Workflow Specialist ensures smooth operations across our Remote Care/RPM division by managing patient workflows, monitoring clinical data, tracking outcomes, and supporting providers and staff. This is a highly technical and detail-oriented role that bridges administrative tasks with operational oversight. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with multiple data systems, can analyze and act on trends, and can design efficient processes to keep the team running at peak performance.
This is a hands-on position with a mix of clinical workflow management, operational coordination, and reporting responsibilities. This is an in-office role in Coral Springs, FL.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Workflow Management
· Track patients throughout onboarding and ongoing monitoring, ensuring proper follow-ups and documentation.
· Assist providers with schedule management, coordination, and visit preparation.
· Monitor and track outcomes of provider visits and escalate issues as needed.
· Maintain patient census and ensure accurate, up-to-date records across systems.
Data & Reporting
· Pull, clean, and analyze operational and clinical data from EMR, RPM platforms, and other systems.
· Prepare billing reports, operational dashboards, and other internal reporting for leadership review.
· Identify trends or bottlenecks in patient care workflows and recommend actionable improvements.
Administrative & HR Support
· Assist in HR-related tasks such as onboarding, documentation, and timesheet tracking.
· Maintain organized records, correspondence, and documentation (electronic and paper).
· Support team coordination and communication across departments.
Scheduling & Coordination
· Manage calendars for patient appointments, provider schedules, and staff onboarding.
· Coordinate meetings, trainings, and team events as needed.
· Serve as a central point of contact for scheduling-related inquiries.
Process Optimization & Flexibility
· Identify inefficiencies in workflows and propose solutions to increase accuracy and efficiency.
· Maintain process documentation and update SOPs as directed.
· Act as a flexible resource for ad-hoc initiatives, pilots, or special projects.'

Requirements
Requirements:
• 2+ years of experience in healthcare administration, operations, or clinical workflow support.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, data analysis).
• Experience with Athena or other EMR platforms strongly preferred.
• Comfortable working with multiple data systems (EHR, RPM platforms, CRMs) and handling sensitive patient information (HIPAA compliance required).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to identify trends and implement process improvements.
• Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
• Ability to think critically, act independently, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
