As the Maintenance Reliability Engineer you will optimise maintenance planning and scope engineering continuous improvement projects in the Cement Plant at Pinkenba.   A key focus will be to benchmark against industry, monitor and report on maintenance metrics and perform root cause analysis on breakdowns.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice on the maintenance and continuous improvement of fixed plant assets
  • Review maintenance plans and rationalise effectiveness
  • Provide leadership and coordination to scope and schedule Plant shutdown events
  • Provide technical expertise on the progress of major plant outages, ensuring stakeholders are kept informed
  • Prepare plant performance reports that highlight progress of plant KPIs for reliability, availability, MTTR and MTBF

About You

  • Degree in Engineering or related discipline
  • Demonstrated experience in reliability or mechanical / maintenance engineering
  • Ability to provide technical support to production and maintenance team
  • Extensive knowledge of working within a fixed plant environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient in preparing performance reports ensuring technical analysis is sound
