Experienced Clinical Nurse – Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)

Shift: Days (40 hours/week, weekend rotation required)

Position Summary

MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking an Experienced Clinical Nurse to join our Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in PreOp and PACU, Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit (ICU), or Hematology, with the ability to support both pre- and post-operative services. This role provides the opportunity to work in a world-class cancer care environment while making a direct impact on patient outcomes.

Education:
Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing.

Experience:
Preferred: one year of Registered Nurse experience 

Licensure/Certification:
Current State of Texas Professional Nursing license (RN). Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification if working in the following department: Nrsg Post Anesthesia Care Unit (600160).
