The Breakfast Server is responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences for guests during breakfast service. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a clean and inviting atmosphere in the breakfast area. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Interaction:
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Provide menu information and answer any questions about food and beverage offerings.
- Take orders accurately and efficiently.
Service Delivery:
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring presentation meets hotel standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience and address any concerns promptly.
Room and Table Preparation:
- Set up the breakfast area before service begins, including table settings and buffet displays.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and serving stations.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Collaborate with other team members to enhance the guest experience and ensure smooth operations.
Inventory Management:
- Assist in managing breakfast supplies, including food items and utensils, ensuring adequate stock.
- Report any shortages or equipment issues to management.
Health and Safety Compliance:
- Follow all safety, health, and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe dining environment.
- Adhere to the hotel’s policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food service, preferably in a hotel or restaurant setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and practices.
- Flexibility to work early mornings and weekends as required.
