The Breakfast Server is responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences for guests during breakfast service. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a clean and inviting atmosphere in the breakfast area. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Guest Interaction:

    • Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor.
    • Provide menu information and answer any questions about food and beverage offerings.
    • Take orders accurately and efficiently.
  2. Service Delivery:

    • Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring presentation meets hotel standards.
    • Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience and address any concerns promptly.
  3. Room and Table Preparation:

    • Set up the breakfast area before service begins, including table settings and buffet displays.
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and serving stations.
  4. Collaboration:

    • Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
    • Collaborate with other team members to enhance the guest experience and ensure smooth operations.
  5. Inventory Management:

    • Assist in managing breakfast supplies, including food items and utensils, ensuring adequate stock.
    • Report any shortages or equipment issues to management.
  6. Health and Safety Compliance:

    • Follow all safety, health, and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe dining environment.
    • Adhere to the hotel’s policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in food service, preferably in a hotel or restaurant setting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused attitude.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and practices.
  • Flexibility to work early mornings and weekends as required.
