JOB PURPOSE  

To provide administrative support to the staff and mission of the Institutional Relations Division.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 

 

  • Budget Tracking: Keep the IR budget up to date  
  • Event Planning: Plan events throughout the year  
  • Leadership Project: Assist with planning and executing monthly Leadership Project events 
  • Inventory: Maintain IR inventory  
  • Directory: Maintain the IR staff directory   
  • Miscellaneous: Stock the snack room and help with miscellaneous tasks 

Requirements

 

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS 

MUST BE CURRENT STUDENT OF MBTS OR SPURGEON COLLEGE, AND 

MUST QUALIFY FOR THE FEDERAL WORK STUDY PROGRAM VIA FAFSA 

To include, however not limited to: 

  • Christian with high integrity, currently pursuing a relationship with God 
  • Exemplify the values of the Institutional Relations division

  • Able to multi-task, analyze workload, and prioritize as necessary 
  • Experience in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Google Suite equivalents 
  • Must show a desire and willingness to learn 
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal 
  • Able to pass a background screening, including driving record 
  • Eligible to work in the United States 


WORKING CONDITIONS 

  • Shared office environment
  • No more than twenty (20) hours per week 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS 

  • Frequently required to sit or stand for periods of time 
  • Bending at waist, sitting, kneeling, climbing, walking, crouching as job may require 
  • Must be able to reach with arms and work with hand above head 
  • Able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
  • Able to drive
