What You Will Do
Provide clinical leadership and oversee daily nursing operations in the Assisted Living community.
Supervise, mentor, and support nursing and direct care staff, ensuring consistency and excellence in resident care.
Coordinate and manage resident assessments, individualized care plans, and ongoing wellness monitoring.
Foster a respectful, inclusive, and engaging community that honors each resident's individuality and autonomy.
Serve as a key liaison between residents, families, healthcare providers, and internal departments.
Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as Kendal’s internal policies.
Lead and participate in staff recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to drive continuous quality improvement and best practices in elder care.
What You Bring
Licensed as an LPN or RN in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, with a strong preference for experience in assisted living, long-term care, or geriatrics.
- Current CPR/BLS certification
Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
In-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance and person-centered care principles.
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
A team-first attitude, strong clinical judgment, and a passion for serving older adults with dignity and compassion.
