Reporting to the District Operations Manager, the Relief Plant Supervisor is responsible for the overall control of each site he/she is covering. 



Main duties include the use of computer based systems for batching and despatch of concrete, talking to customers both face to face and on the phone, carrying out routine maintenance, supervising contractors and hauliers to ensure the safe and efficient running of this site in accordance with the Health & Safety at Work Act and Environmental Legislation.



Other key responsibilities include, ensuring that concrete produced, is compliant with our quality scheme and housekeeping standards at the site are maintained.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee concrete/mortar production to meet customer needs and company standards

  • Operate batching plant with precision and care

  • Conduct routine maintenance and inspections

  • Manage stock levels and incoming materials

  • Ensure environmental compliance (waste, water, dust)

  • Maintain site cleanliness, safety, and security

  • Support winter operations and plant shutdown procedures

  • Handle customer enquiries professionally

  • Collaborate with the District Operations Manager on escalated issues

  • Ensure accurate documentation and ticketing (CRDF forms, material receipts
