Salary: £15.46 per hour + Overtime
Hours: 40 per week
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Purpose of the Role
Are you ready to get hands-on and make a real impact? As a Quarry Operative, you’ll be at the heart of our operations—safely and efficiently running mobile and static plant machinery, keeping our site in top shape, and supporting the processing plant.
Key Responsibilities
Operate mobile/static plant machinery (loading shovel, ADT, excavator) safely and efficiently
Maintain equipment through refueling, greasing, and cleaning
Complete daily inspection sheets and report defects
Support site housekeeping and general duties
Submit near miss reports to help us improve safety
What We’re Looking For
GCSE Grade 4+ (C or above) in Maths & English
Strong understanding of health & safety and quarry regulations
Competency cards in loading shovel, ADT, and excavator (required)
Previous experience in a similar role (desired)
