JOB POSITION

Carelon Global Solutions India is Seeking a Senior Software Engineer.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

• Design, develop, and maintain Python-based backend services using FastAPI and async programming paradigms.

• Integrate with GenAI/LLM APIs (OpenAI, HuggingFace, internal AI services) for intent classification, slot extraction, and content recommendation.

• Build and optimize data pipelines for embeddings, vector search, and resource suggestion using libraries such as Sentence-Transformers, and NumPy.

• Implement and manage process orchestration using Supervisor and deployment automation (tarball/zip-based, CI/CD).

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, security, and scalability.

• Write clean, modular, well-documented, and testable code; maintain and improve unit/integration test coverage (PyTest).

• Collaborate with DevOps to support deployments on Linux VMs (AWS EC2, Azure), including SSL, reverse proxy (Nginx), and environment configuration.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance and reliability.

• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and contribute to technical documentation.

• Stay current with advancements in GenAI, Python, and cloud-native best practices.

QUALIFICATION

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.

EXPERIENCE

• 4 – 6 years.

• Experience with Nginx, SSL/TLS, and reverse proxy configuration.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Exposure to front-end integration (React, Next.js) and API consumption.

• Knowledge of DevOps tools and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible).

• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting for production systems.

• Prior experience in healthcare, AI/ML, or enterprise SaaS environments.
