Material Handler I en Dixon Valve

Are you a proactive and detail-oriented individual with a knack for keeping things moving? Join our team as a Material Handler and become the backbone of our manufacturing operations. In this dynamic role, you'll be responsible for the seamless flow of parts and components throughout our facility, ensuring every work center has exactly what it needs, when it needs it. You'll gain hands-on experience with a variety of equipment, from overhead cranes to fork trucks, and become a master of our shipping and receiving departments. Schedule: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, M-F

Responsibilities:

• Interact with the factory inventory system via laptop or desktop
• Operate industrial scales
• Enter manifest data for shipping 
• Monitor and maintain the accuracy of inventory counts 
• Identify and employ proper packaging materials for shipments 
• Communicate with other departments within Dixon to coordinate shipments 
• Assist with other areas of material handling as needed 
• Other duties as assigned

Experience & Education

• High School or equivalent
