About Us
We are a high-performance Formula One Team driven by innovation, precision, and passion. Our Simulation Development group plays a key role in supporting car design, performance optimisation, and race preparation through advanced software tools and virtual testing environments. As a Simulation Development Intern, you’ll be part of a team that builds and maintains the simulation infrastructure that underpins engineering decisions across the team.
The Role
As a Simulation Development Intern, you’ll support the development, testing, and deployment of simulation software used across the technical departments. You’ll work closely with simulation engineers, software developers, and performance analysts to ensure tools are accurate, efficient, and user-friendly.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in developing and maintaining simulation tools and frameworks
Support the integration of simulation software with engineering workflows
Help validate simulation outputs against real-world data
Contribute to documentation, testing, and user support
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure simulation tools meet performance and usability requirements
Who We’re Looking For
Currently studying a degree in Computer Science, Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace, or Motorsport Engineering and seeking an industry placement in your penultimate year of university
Strong programming skills
Understanding of simulation techniques, numerical methods, or vehicle dynamics
Experience with software development tools and version control systems
Passion for motorsport and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
You must have the right to work in the UK as we cannot provide sponsorship for this role
Be available to attend onsite for an assessment centre in October
