Position: Asset Manager

Supervisor's Position: VP, Used Trucks & Transportation as Service (TaaS)

Purpose of the Role

 

The position shall be responsible for life cycle management of assets deployed under TaaS, run operations and manage the contracts under Truck as a Service business line.

Education

 

BE / B. Tech - Mechanical/Automobile/Mechatronics Engineer

Experience

 

5 Years & above

Business Understanding

 

  • Comparative product specification comparison for assigned models.  
  • Understanding of used truck transportation business requirements for the Area.
  • Operational understanding -Transport economy calculation with our solution.
  • Connecting features to commercial benefit and stacking the same to get premium over competition.
  • AMC understanding & offerings-Key account Management.

Area of Responsibility

 

1. Contract Creation & Asset Management

Execute the TaaS contracts in region India efficiently. Manage the deployed assets in the most cost-effective manner.

2. New Business Development

Explore opportunities for improving the fleet utilization to achieve full efficiency and better return of investment from assets

3. Customer Agreements & Recommendations

 

Assess customer agreements, preventive maintenance recommendations, dealer/vendor contracts to assist with asset keep up, upgrades, replacements, and repairs.

Model full lifecycle of assets from acquisition through disposal under different applications and situations. Co-ordinate closely with proposal team to create competitive service offers.

4. Strategizing & Optimization

Develop strategies and relationships to implement plans for refurbishment, rebuilding, refinancing, and recycling of assets. Decide on the mobilization, demobilization, decommissioning and resale of assets in the contracts.

5. Customer Value & Experience

Grow the existing service products like active care, telematics, site efficiency improvement projects, Assist Apps, Rennovation products etc. to improve business performance.

6. Partner, People Management & Competency Building

Ensure process documentation and KPI’s for deliverables for partners. Monthly reconciliation and sign off on deliverables.
Onboarding, training and deployment as necessary, map productivity and deliverables
