Lead Custodian

Purpose of Position:

The main goal of this role is to support custodial duties and alleviate overtime. It will also involve establishing and maintaining an inventory system for the custodial department to identify areas where cost savings can be achieved and ensure proper utilization of resources. Additionally, the position will contribute to custodial assessments, suggest improvements, and report any issues that require attention. The individual will also assist with guiding new hires through their custodial responsibilities within the building.

Job Duties

• Covering for Custodians that are out. Night or day as needed.
• Deliver Custodial Supplies.
• Maintain a custodial inventory for each building.
• Assist with new hire training.

Requirements

• Must be able to use technology efficiently. Experience with Microsoft and Google Docs is a plus.
• Must be willing and able to have an adjustable schedule morning or night.
• Able to lift up to 30lbs.
• Able to pass random drug tests and drive a school vehicle.

 
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent.
 
Certificates and Licenses
Valid Driver’s License & Evidence of Insurability.
 
Clearances
Criminal Justice Fingerprint/Background Clearance
