POSITION SUMMARY:
VMRC is a life plan community operating 120 skilled nursing beds in the complete living sector of our continuum. In complete living care, we serve 85 residents in our Woodland Park setting and up to 35 in Transitional Care. Woodland Park is a household model that encompasses a real home and a meaningful life while receiving nursing care and services. Transitional Care is the short-term rehab aspect of patient care in post-acute care.
As an RN at VMRC, you will be a part of the nursing team and work closely with other healthcare disciplines to assist residents/patients and their families in meeting goals of dimensional wellness and improved outcomes during their visit with us.
This position may require working in both (Woodland Park and Transitional Care) settings.
COMPENSATION:
- Starting base rate of pay is $28.22 - $37.63 (RN license)
- Sign-On Bonus: $10k OR $7 shift differential (offered for 2 pm-10 pm shift only)
- $2 night shift differential (10 pm-6 am all days)
- Additional $2 weekend shift differential (offered from 6 am Saturday - 6 am Monday)
- Student Loan Forgiveness: Available with either option above: (Quarterly loan forgiveness payout)
- 15k/year for BSN

SCHEDULES:
Available shifts may include:
- 4-hours
- 8 hours (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM / 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM / 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM)
- 12 hours (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM / 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM)
Potential schedules may be available:
- Full-Time w/ All Benefits: 4 shifts per week plus every other weekend = 80 hours per pay period
- Part-Time w/ All Benefits: 3 shifts per week plus every other weekend = 64 hours per pay period
- Part-Time w/ All Benefits Except Medical Insurance: 1-2 shifts per week plus every other weekend = 40-56 hours per pay period
- Part-Time: 1 shift per week plus every other weekend = 32 hours per pay period
- Part-Time: every other weekend = 16 hours per pay period
- Flex: scheduled as needed with a minimum of 3 shifts per month including 1 weekend
Requirements
As a condition for employment, VMRC requires all employees to be fully vaccinated. If selected for a pending job offer, the candidate will be required to receive the COVID-19 vaccination(s), provide proof of prior COVID-19 vaccination(s), or provide approved documentation of exemption (medical or religious) before the time of hire.

- Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing with a current license to practice nursing as RN in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
- Current CPR certification or obtain within 60 days of employment.
- Highly organized with the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy, possess computer experience with proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook and willingness to learn new software packages.
- Ability to understand and carry out oral and written assignments using the English language.
- Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with nursing assistants and nursing administration to ensure established standards of care are met or exceeded.
- Ability to provide outstanding customer service using a friendly, outgoing, and customer-first approach in person and by phone.
- A pleasant personality with ability to work closely with staff, residents, and family members in a calm, cooperative, respectful, and professional manner.
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Ability to be a self-starter and self-motivated and to perform the duties listed in the job description with limited supervision.
- Willingness to be flexible and accommodate changing priorities.
