Major/Essential Functions
- Assist in the development of marketing and communication strategies and campaigns to promote information technology across TTU campus across the Texas Tech campus and beyond.
- Work with a team to develop impactful methods to engage our campus community.
- Collaborate with the central Marketing & Communications office and other team members on outreach campaigns, events and projects.
- Perform administrative tasks related to marketing and communication as needed.
- This position is expected to work for up to 20 hours per week as permitted by applicable policies.
- This position requires a Level 2 Security Clearence (Background check and Drug/Alcohol screening).

Preferred Qualifications
- Will be enrolled as a student for at least two full semesters after starting the position.
- Professional experience in marketing strategy and/or education or certifications in marketing, media and communications or communications.
- Proficiency in social media platforms and basic graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.).
- Advanced users of PowerPoint, and other Office suite software.
