Position Summary:
Translation Specialist responsibilities include translating and supporting all parts of Team Member
Orientation. This includes translating during tours and lunch while exhibiting a high level of guest service and professionalism.

Essential Functions:
1. Responsible for redefining hospitality at Graton Resort & Casino while living, supporting, and promoting our values.
2. Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures.
3. Ensure that the Team Members for whom they are translating are consistently on pace with Orientation and notify the facilitator of the needs of the individual/group to get them back on track.
4. Advocate for the Team Members for whom they are providing translation through assertive and clear communication to the facilitator, other participants and other departments that support the New Hire Orientation process.
5. Ability to patiently and clearly communicate content in multiple ways, as needed, for Team Member(s) to ensure there is clear understanding.
6. Ability to patiently and clearly interpret multiple media (verbal, visual, audio and written) to ensure the Team Member(s) completely comprehend(s) the content.
7. Consistent ability to deliver translation that is as close to the original content as possible.
8. Assist Onboarding Specialist with any other translation-related tasks in Orientation.
