Position Overview:
The Center for the Arts seeks a Student Worker to support Crew Chief.

 

Learning Objectives:

  • Technical ability in lighting, sound, staging and video.
  • Management and supervision.
  • Teamwork with a focus on teaching inexperienced staff.


Responsibilities:

  • Experience in show control and recording studio operations.
  • Ability to follow directives from manager
  • Ability to supervise staff as a crew chief when manager is not on site.
  • Navigate all technical aspects of recording sessions and live events.
  • Work with clients to realize the events and sessions expectation

    Qualifications:

     

  • Concert Hall and recording studio employment for three years.
  • Full awareness of technology and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to work under dynamics with positive outcomes.
