FP&A Sr. Manager
The FP&A Sr. Manager will be a key contributor to the execution of the business strategy and responsible for providing financial and analytical support to the branches and corporate reporting to the private equity board/investors. This position will be hands-on, producing analysis and influencing strong, financially informed decisions.

Percheron Capital, the private equity investor, has invested over $100M in funding, and the company has raised another $100M+ in debt financing to support the high-growth acquisition strategy. Currently in six states in the Southeast, with near-term plans to enter 2-3 additional states. Sales target to be $200-250M in sales in 4 years, up from the current ~$50M in sales.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Develop the FP&A function, including the monitoring and measurement of company performance in real time, to support profitable growth and the M&A acquisition strategy
- Deliver, along with the CFO, the long-range strategy and annual budget plan, along with robust quarterly forecast updates
- Provide analysis, recommendations, and solutions related to the financial performance of each of the branches and critical business levers to drive profitable growth to the overall business
- Prepare and deliver presentations related to financial results and plans for business partners across the organization
- Collaborate with branches to identify, evaluate, and prioritize projects and initiatives to determine the optimal allocation of resources
- Maintain and build upon data sources, forecasting tools, and processes that power ongoing analysis
- Help develop the capabilities of the finance team to drive the business and reporting needs, while ensuring a strong foundation to support future growth
- Analyze and report on metrics, analysis, and KPIs that assist in providing leadership with insight as to what is impacting the business and guidance on the best course of action to optimize results
- Independently develop process improvements resulting in the development of new technological ways to streamline and improve reporting efficiency
Job Requirements:
Proficiencies:
- Exceptional analytical, problem-identification, and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically
- Strong financial modeling and analysis skills, expertise in Excel
- Solid understanding and background of integrated financial and reporting systems, specifically Sage Intacct
- Able to manipulate and leverage large amounts of data into meaningful reporting
- Intellectual curiosity and professional ownership
- Ability to package and present financial data/information in an executive manner focused on driving business decisions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Technology Qualifications:
- ERP Systems [Sage Intacct, NetSuite, Oracle, MS Dynamics, Navision, QBO]
- FP&A Systems [Adaptive Planning, Anaplan, Power BI, Hyperion, TM1, OLAP, multi-dimensional, cohort analytics]
- Microsoft Suite advanced user [Expert Excel user: Pivot Tables, Lookups, Arrays, Index, Macros, Dashboards]
Preferred Experience:
- 7-10 years of relevant finance experience; multi-branch or multi-business unit reporting structure experience is preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, Statistics, Data Science, or other quantitative field; MBA Preferred
