Responsibilities
- Organize the HR storage rooms for audit preparation purposes and filing of documents as necessary.
- Answer the main external Kawneer telephone line, re-directing calls to appropriate employees and managers, and taking information down when appropriate.
- Run HR reports for the department as appropriate.
- Responsible for probation evaluation, implementation, and disciplinary action.
- Respond to employee questions relative to local policies/procedures.
- Recruiting – tasks such as applicant review, sending letters to candidates, scheduling of tests and interviews, facilitating tour sessions, extending job offers, scheduling physicals and coordinating the details for HR/Orientation.
- Prepare all necessary paperwork for new hires including collecting details of crew assignment, job title, pay grade, etc.
- Support Human Resource Business Partners. - Oracle Procurement system (e.g. enter Purchase orders maintained by HR, receiving of invoices for payment).
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective collaborative work relationships.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Good time management, detail oriented, and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated, with strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Experience in inventory management, leading teams, process improvement activities, and safety protocols.
- Possess the ability and willingness to learn other software systems quickly.
- Flexible schedule when required to meet production needs.
