Job Summary
The Commercial Data Specialist is an entry-level role responsible for supporting Cohere Beauty’s commercial operations by collecting, organizing, and analyzing data to drive informed decision-making. This role plays a critical part in tracking team KPIs, managing sales and project pipelines, maintaining schedules, and producing reporting that supports leadership visibility and performance improvement.
This is what you will do:
- Data & KPI Management
- Maintain accurate records of commercial KPIs. Including sales activity, project timelines, and customer satisfaction metrics.
- Track progress toward team goals and prepare regular KPI summaries for leadership review.
- Audit data for accuracy and completeness, making corrections as needed.
- Monday.com administrator
- Pipeline Management:
- Monitor and update the sales and project pipeline in CRM and project management tools.
- Ensure all opportunities and active projects have accurate status, timing, and owner assignments.
- Flag potential risks to timelines, capacity, or revenue targets for follow-up.
- Scheduling and Coordination:
- Support scheduling of key commercial meetings, including pipeline reviews, business updates, and cross-functional status calls.
- Maintain key milestone calendars for customer projects to ensure timely follow-up and delivery.
- Assist with preparing meeting agendas and distributing summaries/action items.
- Analysis & Reporting:
- Gather and compile data from multiple systems (CRM, ERP, project management tools) into consolidated reports.
- Perform basic analysis to identify trends, gaps, or opportunities for process improvement.
- Create visual dashboards and charts to present data in an accessible and actionable format.
- Support ad hoc reporting requests from leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Process Support:
- Assist in developing standard reporting templates and automated processes to streamline data capture and analysis.
- Support the continuous improvement of data quality, reporting speed and information accuracy.
- Other Duties:
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the overall success of the organization.
This is what you will need:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in business, data analytics, supply chain, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- 0 – 2 years of experience in data entry, reporting, or analysis (internships and project work accepted).
- Experience with Monday.com
- Experience in a commercial, sales operations, or customer service environment is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data and analysis.
- Ability to organize and manage large amounts of information from multiple sources.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables charts, basic formulas) and PowerPoint; CRM and ERP experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to summarize complex data into clear insights.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive problem-solving and willingness to learn new systems and tools.
- Commitment to maintaining regular and predictable attendance.
- Ability to work onsite.
