The role

The Regional Operations Manager leads the janitorial division for MSNW’s Southern Branches, overseeing all Janitorial Supervisors and the Special Services team (floor care, carpet cleaning, pressure washing, and window washing). You’ll own regional quality, client satisfaction, team performance, and operational results across a portfolio of accounts in Tacoma and Portland.

What you’ll do

Operational leadership

• Lead, coach, and develop Janitorial Supervisors and Special Services crews; build staffing plans and schedules that meet service windows (day/evening/overnight as client needs dictate).
   
• Ensure scope compliance, daily service delivery, and consistent quality through planned inspections and audits; drive corrective actions and continuous improvement.
   
• Plan, quote, schedule, and execute Special Services (hard floor care—strip/finish/scrub/recoat, carpet extraction/encapsulation, pressure washing, window washing) with minimal client disruption.
   
• Launch and stabilize new accounts; coordinate transitions, equipment, chemicals, consumables, and start-up training.
   

Client, quality & safety

• Be the face of MSNW with clients—set service expectations, run walkthroughs, and resolve issues fast; track NPS/retention drivers.
   
• Champion Safety First: ensure toolbox talks, PPE use, chemical handling, and OSHA-aligned practices; partner with Safety/HR for training and incident response. msnwgroup.com
   

Financial & administrative

• Manage labor to plan; approve timekeeping; align special projects with budget and margin targets; support pricing for change orders and supplemental work.
   
• Maintain inventory and equipment readiness (auto-scrubbers, burnishers, extractors, lifts, pressure washers).
   
• Use company systems for inspections, work orders, and reporting; communicate KPIs to branch leadership.
   

What you’ll bring

• Required: 5+ years of multi-site janitorial operations leadership, including Special Services (floor and carpet care, pressure washing, window washing).
   
• Proven success managing supervisors and dispersed frontline teams; hands-on with QA inspections, scheduling, and client relations.
   
• Strong knowledge of cleaning processes, chemicals, and equipment; safety mindset and regulatory awareness.
   
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel routinely between Tacoma & Portland; ability to work occasional nights/weekends for project work.
   
• Nice to have: multi-industry account experience (healthcare, financial, retail/government), process improvement credentials, bilingual English/Spanish.
   

Schedule & travel

• Full-time; typical business hours with flexibility for client schedules and project nights.
   
• Regular regional travel between Tacoma and Portland.
