- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated build, test, and deployment processes
- Collaborate with software developers on infrastructure needs and support feature development through environment readiness and integration support
- Perform day-to-day operations including infrastructure monitoring, patching, backup, and system health checks
- Lead troubleshooting efforts across application environments and implement preventive measures
- Ensure all infrastructure changes and configurations are compliant with federal system security requirements
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) and provide DevOps guidance to the team
- Experience supporting .Net developers and applications
- Document technical processes, deployment steps, and operational runbooks
What We Need From You (Required):
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including infrastructure (IaaS/PaaS) design and management
- 3+ years of experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or equivalent tools
- Demonstrated experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and cloud monitoring tools
- Strong problem-solving and incident response skills with a focus on resolution and continuous improvement
- Communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including team members, leadership, and clients
- Prepare and deliver professional presentations on system architecture, DevOps workflows, or technical recommendations to internal teams and government stakeholders
- Design and maintain system architecture diagrams and related technical documentation to support planning, development, and compliance efforts
- U.S. citizenship required (no exceptions)
- Ability to successfully obtain a clearance
Bonus Points (Desired):
- Active Secret clearance
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert
- Familiarity with SA&A (Security Assessment & Authorization) and continuous compliance in federal environments
- Experience supporting applications within the Department of State or other federal agencies
- Experience with Agile/Scrum frameworks
- Remote, Customer Site: Washington, DC
- Min. BA/BS required in a relevant field (e.g., Information Technology, Computer Science, and/or engineering) or equivalent years of technical experience
Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $135k - $150k.
