Goshen Therapeutic Services, a division of Goshen Valley Foundation, is a community-based social service organization that provides services for families involved with DFCS as well as in the community. We are currently seeking a part-time Front Desk Coordinator. We are a DFCS partnered agency that works with families that are involved with DFCS.


The ideal Front Desk Coordinator will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support in a healthcare setting. This role involves interacting with clients, managing patient information, and ensuring smooth operations at the front desk.

  • Provide coverage for front desk, greet clients upon arrival, collect patients' personal information and support clients in the check-in process.
  • Validate payment methods and insurance coverage, creating charts within our health record system.
  • Check insurance eligibility and submit insurance authorizations.
  • Schedule and coordinate DATEP Nursing Assessments, school therapy with CCSD, and clients for select staff.
  • Collect and allocate copayments.
  • Upload Drug Screen Results, Case Notes, and support staff with administrative tasks.
  • Coordinate Quarterly AGC (All God’s Children Pediatrics) coordination of care.
  • Monitor office and printer supplies.
  • Coordinate and plan quarterly GTS birthday celebrations.


Additionally, the right Front Desk Coordinator candidate will have experience with Time and Priority Management, Planning and Organization. Be self-starting and enjoy working with a team while being Personally Accountable for daily tasks.


This is a part-time job share position. This position will be covering Tuesdays and Thursdays. Office hours are Monday-Thursday 9-5pm and Fridays from 9-3pm. Benefits include: 401k eligibility with employer match.

Requirements

The requirements for the Front Desk Coordinator :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, or a High School Diploma with a minimum of five years’ experience in a business setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be of good character and supportive of the standards, policies, and program ideals of GVF.
  • Must be able to pass a drug and background screens, and be insurable/bondable by the GVF insurance carrier.
