Hybrid Seasonal Seed Supply Staff en Beck's Hybrids

Responsibilities

• Assist with the collection of corn harvest samples
• Independently apply seed treatments to corn harvest samples
• Assist with the labeling and packaging of seed samples for quality assurance testing
• Utilize parcel shipping software used for distribution of seed samples and seed lots
• Assist with the sampling of seed lots in the Warehouse or Bulk Storage
• Assist with maintenance of equipment used in seed lab receiving area
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Assist with any duties assigned by the Corn Inventory & Planning Manager and Seed Supply Team 

 Job Requirements

 Education and training:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and insurable driving record as determined by Beck’s automobile insurance policy.

 Technical knowledge:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong work ethic with attention to detail
• Ability to be patient when working with others

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs
• Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time
• Good manual dexterity
• Ability to work in an environment with seed, grain dust, and seed treatments.
