Responsibilities:
Verifying eligibility and benefits for all patients.
Assisting reception with any eligibility issues
Notifying patients and the front desk of any insurance issues and properly documenting as such
Update Case descriptions to ensure that providers have accurate infomation.
Confirming if the patient insurance requares a primary care provider that we are listed as the primary care provider.
Maintaing and organizing pertinant documentation.
Communicating with the team of status and progress
Transmit information or documents to customers, using a computer, mail, or facsimile machine.
Save any eligibility documentation into the patient’s medical chart
Operate telephone to answer, screen, or forward calls, providing information, taking messages
Analyze data to determine answers to questions from customers or members of the public
Any other duties as assigned by management.

Physical Requirements:
Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting of patients, manual and finger dexterity, and hand-eye coordination.
Requires sitting and/or standing for extensive periods of time
Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to fifty (50) pounds
Requires corrected vision, hearing, and speech within normal ranges
Requires working under stressful conditions
