About the job

Job DescriptionSenior Backend DeveloperWhat you'll be working on

  • Developing and maintaining REST API endpoints for our ecommerce applications built with NextJs and TypeScript
  • Leveraging PostgreSQL as the database and using Drizzle or Prisma as the ORM for data access and management
  • Working in a Turbo monorepo architecture to develop features and services across multiple codebases
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with frontend teams to design and build APIs that power core shopping and checkout experiences
  • Implement features and enhancements to help scale our platforms and improve performance
  • Ensure high quality, secure and optimized code through testing, linting and monitoring
Requirements
  • 5+ years of professional experience building backend services and APIs
  • Expertise with TypeScript, PostgreSQL and Node.js
  • Experience with ORMs and monorepo architectures
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns, security best practices and performance optimization
  • Ability to work remotely with a distributed international team
