In order to grasp the scale of problems we face, ideally, you have some exposure to Logistics, FinTech, Transportation, Insurance, Media or other complex multifactor industries.
Requirements:
- 12+ years experience at scale with Ruby on Rails, Heroku, Redis, Elastic Search and sidekiq queue. (A technical assessment will be required.)
- 5+ years of experience as a solutions architect
- Proven experience in architecting and building complex web applications using Ruby on Rails, adhering to clean architecture principles.
- Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, web services, and microservices architecture.
- Strong knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and experience integrating with modern JavaScript frameworks like React or Vue.js.
- Proficiency in database design and management, including experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL, and knowledge of NoSQL databases like Redis or MongoDB.
- Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, leveraging services like Elastic Beanstalk, EC2, S3, and RDS.
- Expertise in application performance optimization and scaling strategies, including caching, load balancing, and query optimization.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong knowledge of security best practices, including secure coding techniques, data protection, and user authentication/authorization.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and collaborative tools like JIRA and Confluence.
