Role Overview

The Senior Analyst will lead and execute complex projects that encompass both advanced data analytics (reporting) and data science initiatives. You will transform large and diverse datasets into actionable insights, develop predictive models, and create compelling reports and visualizations to drive strategic business decisions. As a senior individual contributor, you will help define and refine our data processes, mentor junior team members, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance our data-driven culture.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end data projects, including data extraction, cleaning, analysis, modeling, and reporting.

  • Develop and implement advanced machine learning models and statistical analyses to solve complex business problems.
  • Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports to effectively communicate insights.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify key metrics and develop reporting frameworks that support decision-making processes.
  • Define and enhance data analytics and data science methodologies and best practices to improve team efficiency and output quality.
  • Mentor and guide junior data analysts and data scientists, fostering their technical and professional growth.
  • Communicate complex analytical concepts and results to non-technical audiences, including senior leadership.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in data analytics and data science roles, with a proven track record of leading complex projects from start to finish.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, including experience with data manipulation, analysis, and statistical libraries.
  • Strong expertise in machine learning techniques, statistical modeling, and predictive analytics.
  • Extensive experience with data visualization and reporting tools like Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating relational databases.
  • Demonstrated ability to define KPIs and develop comprehensive reporting solutions aligned with business objectives.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience presenting complex information to senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and influence cross-functional teams.
