Job Description
As a Remote HR Specialist/Recruiter at Website Design Valley, you will be responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle, fostering a positive employee experience, and supporting HR processes. This is a fully remote position, giving you the flexibility to work from anywhere in Canada. You will play a key role in helping us find and retain top talent to drive our company's success.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the entire recruitment process, from job posting to onboarding new employees.
- Source and screen potential candidates through various channels (job boards, social media, etc.).
- Conduct interviews and coordinate the selection process with hiring managers.
- Develop and maintain job descriptions and postings to attract top talent.
- Assist in employee onboarding, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
- Provide HR support, including managing employee relations, benefits, and compliance with employment laws.
- Maintain accurate HR records and ensure confidentiality of employee information.
- Support employee development and training initiatives.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify HR needs and align recruitment strategies with company goals.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work culture.
- Proven experience as an HR Specialist or Recruiter, preferably in a remote setting.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Familiarity with HR best practices, including employee relations, benefits management, and compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in using HR software and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A proactive and results-driven approach to problem-solving.
