Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager with a proven track record in delivering Software as a Service (SaaS) projects to highly technical clients/users. You will be responsible for effective communication, coordination, organization, and facilitation within the project team and with users. Your main duties include providing progress updates and risk assessments to stakeholders, ensuring compliance with requirements, managing project risks and deliverables, and collaborating with other leads/managers to allocate resources and shape product features and roadmap. This role requires extensive expertise in technical project management and a demonstrated ability to deliver successful SaaS solutions in complex environments.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
The Technical Project Manager is accountable for the following functions and responsibilities:
- Lead project planning by breaking down deliverables and milestones.
- Lead Agile ceremonies such as daily standups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Manage and negotiate requirements/change requests from clients.
- Identify and mitigate project risks.
- Collaborate with other leads/managers to allocate resources and shape product features.
- Create and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and project-related artifacts.
- Communicate project status and risks to key stakeholders.
- The ability to train and mentor less experienced project managers
- Be familiar with similar and competing products in the marketplace.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelors or relevant work experience or certification/courses.
- At least 4 years experience as a technical project manager or lead software engineer.
- Prior experience or knowledge as a software engineer.
- Experience in stakeholder management and communication
- Experience in technical communication
- Experience in end-to-end project management
- Experience in process management
- Experience in data-driven
- Basic experience in AccelByte products and services
- Experience in project management tools
- Experience in Scrum and Agile development methodologies.
- Basic experience in application programming interface (REST API, Websocket API, etc.)
- Basic experience in customer support platform
- Basic experience of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Experience with UE4/Unity and other tools used in developing online video games is a have.
- Experience working in the game industry is preferred
- Experience in delivering SaaS products is highly desirable
- Eagerness to learn new languages and technologies.
- Proficiency in written and verbal English language to succeed in a remote work environment.
- Flexibility to adjust to work routines/schedules, as required, to meet the needs of the company and the expectations of customers.
