About:

Rapid improvements in AI are allowing developers to go beyond task automation into automating entire projects, and soon whole jobs. In this new era, the character of human work will change, and bit by bit, we will go from doing all of the work ourselves to assuming the role of an orchestrator, directing swaths of AI agents that do most of the work for us.

At Moondrop, we believe the next generation of companies will not just be augmented by AI, but predominantly run by AI and are spearheading this shift at the cutting edge of automation. Over the last year we have developed an innovative framework for human-AI collaboration around complex projects and without giving too much away, we can say it's quite different from the primarily chat based interfaces that competitors are working on. While the end product will be able to produce content across a wide range of business verticals, the entry point for Moondrop will be branded content - helping CMO's produce on-brand messaging for a multitude of channels.

The Role:

We’re looking for a Senior AI Engineer to join us as our first hire at Moondrop. This is a critical role where you’ll work directly with Adam Chrigström (prev. co-founder/CEO of Playpilot), to lay down the technical foundation of the company. You’ll also collaborate closely with the Dagg AI team (team of senior AI developers) and our senior advisors Johan Billgren (co-founder Acast) and Fredrik Limsäter (co-founder ftrack).

Responsibilities:

• Develop high-quality, robust, and scalable AI-driven applications from conception to deployment.
• Rapidly prototype and iterate on innovative solutions to complex problems.
• Implement advanced AI models and algorithms that push the boundaries of what’s possible in creative storytelling.
• Collaborate with the Dagg AI team and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and scaling of our solutions.

Technical background:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI, machine learning, or a related field. Exceptional candidates with proven track records are also welcome.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages (C/C++, Go, Rust, Ada, assembly varieties, etc.) and familiarity with AI.
• A proven track record of successful, innovative, and impactful software development projects.
• Ability to contribute across the stack and a familiarity with both backend and frontend (at this early stage we need more of an engineering generalist than a highly specialised ML Engineer or data scientist).

Meritorious:

• Experience with Dart/flutter.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure for AI services and data processing.
• Contributions to open source projects related to AI, machine learning, or innovative software solutions.
• Experience with distributed computing for scaling AI solutions and managing large datasets.
