Responsibilities

  • Design and build software solutions that directly impact customers and the world.
  • Take ownership and be responsible for what you build.
  • Work collaboratively across multiple functions (e. g. Product, Sales, Marketing).
  • You will develop and execute against both short and long-term roadmaps, making effective tradeoffs between business impact, user experience, and a high-quality technical foundation.
  • You will support your fellow engineers through feedback, code reviews, and the advancement of internal tools and processes.

  • Help with hiring and organization building for future scale.
Requirements
  • Firm grasp of Python, Django, and SQL (MySQL/Postgres).
  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming.
  • B. Tech. in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience in server-side engineering and 1+ years experience in writing production Django apps are desirable.
  • Engineering experience with a proven track record of building high-performance consumer web applications or services in Django.
  • A functional understanding of building APIs and how a JavaScript or Mobile (iOS and Android) client can consume them.
  • Comfort with ambiguity - capable of solving complex problems independently in a fast-paced environment.
