Department Overview

Our cross-functional Design & Customer Experience team consists of Industrial Design, UI/UX Design, User Research, and Human Factors practitioners who design for diverse and challenging markets. Each of these core capabilities contributes within a user-centered design process to leverage our advanced wireless communications, cloud & mobile applications, video, analytics, and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to envision a new generation of life-changing – and life-saving – products, applications and services. We are user-focused and outcome-driven, identifying problems and creating solutions based on research and engagement with our customers.

Job Description

The Creative Developer Co-op will work closely with our Customer Experience team to design, develop, and implement interactive and engaging digital solutions that enhance our customers' journey. This role is ideal for a highly motivated individual with a strong creative flair, technical skills, and a passion for improving customer experiences through innovative digital solutions, including the creative implementation of AI technologies and full-stack development.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with CX designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and customer needs.
  • Design and develop interactive web pages, and other digital assets using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to web development.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices to continually enhance the quality and effectiveness of our digital solutions.
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions and creative discussions to drive innovative ideas and solutions.
  • Utilize knowledge of AI to creatively implement AI-driven features that enhance customer interactions and experiences.
  • Engage in full-stack development projects, contributing to both front-end and back-end development tasks as required.
  • Collaborate on the integration of AI algorithms and models into our digital platforms to personalize and optimize user experiences.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other front-end development languages and frameworks.
  • Experience with backend technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python, databases) and full-stack development.
  • Basic understanding of UX/UI principles and best practices.
  • Knowledge and strong interest in AI, with the ability to creatively implement AI solutions.
  • Familiarity with AI frameworks and tools (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • A portfolio showcasing relevant web development, design projects, and any AI-related work is highly desirable.

Basic Requirements

  • High School Diploma is required
  • Must be pursuing a minimum of a Bachelor's degree (Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or other Engineering or technical degree) with a graduation date of May 2024 or later
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
