Discover Impactful Work:
Play a key role in our Richmond operations, handling raw materials and supporting lab activities.
Perform stockroom duties, including receiving, put-away, stock rotation, cycle counts, and replenishments, strictly adhering to business requirements.
Receive materials and/or finished goods daily, verifying the quality, type, and amount, and ensuring the appropriate documentation is present.
Pick, pack, sort, arrange, count, store, and process items for storage or shipment, sustaining a high level of quality to ensure customers receive the accurate product on time.
Deliver direct shipment orders to end users on campus as required.
Operate various handheld devices such as tablets and barcode scanners.
Communicate any customer issues or potential problems to the supervisor/manager promptly.
Access and apply the PPD Intranet and SharePoint document management system.
Follow well-defined procedures as outlined by Best Practices, SOPs, and work instructions, taking direction from the Site Supervisor/Manager and Team Lead.
Perform and document actions within the company ERP system.
Maintain clean and safe work areas at all times.
Education
High / Secondary school diploma or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification
Technical positions may require a certificate
Experience
Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to at least 2 years).
In some cases an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.

Proven experience in a similar role or related field
Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to operate handheld devices and familiarity with ERP systems.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Dedication to maintaining a clean and safe workspace.
