Key Responsibilities:
Procurement & Vendor Management
- Develop and execute procurement strategies to ensure cost savings, quality, and timely delivery.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to maximize value.
- Build and maintain strong vendor and supplier relationships to secure reliability and innovation.
- Monitor supplier performance, compliance, and risk management.
Supply Chain & Logistics
- Manage end-to-end supply chain operations related to testing and inspection, including sourcing, transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
- Implement processes and tools that drive collaboration and accuracy in forecasting our business’ demand for people, equipment, and vehicle fleet.
- Partner and innovate alongside industry leaders to ensure we have the right supply strategies for equipment and vehicle fleet to meet the needs of the business in a wide range of demand scenarios
Process Improvement & Strategy
- Develop KPIs to measure procurement and fleet utilization. Use these KPIs to drive insights and improved business outcomes.
- Lead initiatives to streamline processes and communication across the business teams, build frameworks for how to think about demand scenarios, and optimize cash flow while always meeting customer needs.
- Partner with finance, operations, and sales to align procurement and supply chain with business objectives.
- Leverage technology and data analytics to drive decision-making and efficiency
Requirements
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE& EXPERIENCE: 5+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or logistics management. Strong negotiation, contract management, and vendor relationship skills. Experience with ERP systems, demand planning, and procurement software. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proven leadership ability to manage cross-functional teams.
SKILLS/ABILITIES: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to multi-task, maintain organization, and operate in a fluid and fast paced environment. Solid customer service abilities. Sound reasoning and decision-making skills. High degree of Business Analytical skills. Strong attention to detail.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION:
- TALKING: Ability to speak effectively and communicate clearly.
- AVERAGE HEARING: Ability to hear average conversations.
- REPETITIVE MOTION: The employee is regularly required to type throughout the day as well as stand, sit, bend, kneel, squat, and walk for long periods of time.
- FINGER DEXTERITY: The employee is regularly required to use hands to type and maneuver a mouse.
- AVERAGE VISION: Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- PHYSICAL STRENGTH: The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds (unassisted).
WORKING CONDITIONS: This position primarily works in an office environment; however, has potential for varied environments that may include off premise work and travel. Constant interaction with co-workers, customers, vendors, and general public.
MENTAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION:
- REASONING ABILITY: Ability to deal with a variety of variables under only limited standardization.
- MATHEMATICS ABILITY: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers and common fractions.
