About the Opportunity

Our client is a fast-growing digital marketing agency specializing in helping trade and home-service businesses scale. They provide integrated marketing solutions including video production, social media, websites, SEO/AEO, paid advertising, and strategic consulting, and are hiring a senior, high-energy B2B sales professional to join their team.

This is not a traditional appointment-setting role. You'll own the sales process from first contact through close, with a strong emphasis on fast lead response, qualification, consultative selling, disciplined follow-up, and closing recurring marketing engagements. Most opportunities will be warm inbound leads, referrals, and prospects already familiar with the brand, with selective outbound and reactivation work when appropriate.

What You'll Own

• Respond to new inbound leads with urgency — ideally within minutes — and move qualified prospects toward a sales conversation quickly
• Qualify business owners around revenue, growth goals, current marketing, pain points, urgency, decision-making, and fit
• Run consultative sales calls and confidently sell recurring digital marketing engagements to trade and home-service business owners
• Own the full sales cycle: initial outreach, qualification, meeting setting, discovery, proposal, objection handling, follow-up, contract, and collected payment
• Maintain momentum across multi-touch sales cycles rather than relying exclusively on one-call closes
• Re-engage past prospects, old leads, and existing relationships when inbound volume is lighter
• Maintain accurate pipeline activity, follow-up, and communication in the CRM
• Use professional written communication across email, CRM messaging, and internal Slack channels
• Stay in touch with clients periodically to identify appropriate cross-sell and upsell opportunities without taking on service-delivery responsibilities
• Collaborate directly with company leadership on sales strategy, messaging, objections, offers, and market feedback
• Review and improve your own sales performance using call feedback, coaching, scripts, and documented sales processes
• When practical, represent the company at industry conferences and trade shows (travel preferred but not required)

What Success Looks Like

• By approximately 90 days: generate around $30,000 per month in new recurring business
• Target approximately a 33% close rate on qualified sales opportunities
• Work toward roughly 10 sales meetings per week and approximately 3 closes per week once fully ramped
• Respond rapidly to new leads and pursue same-day conversations whenever possible
• Longer-term target: build toward approximately $100,000 per month in new recurring revenue

Earning Potential : OTE: $100K–$150K+ annually / ~$8.3K–$12.5K+ monthly once ramped.

• This role uses a high-upside recurring commission model with a temporary ramp bridge:

• Ramp Base: $4,000/month temporary base during ramp-up
• New Business Commission: 10% of cash collected from every new client you personally bring in and close, continuing as a residual for as long as that client remains active and collected revenue continues
• Existing Client Commission: 5% on additional business from existing clients, including applicable renewals, repeat business, or expansion opportunities (this additional 5% does not carry an ongoing residual)
• The temporary $4,000 base is removed once your recurring monthly commissions reach $4,000 — based on current targets, this is expected to occur around the first 2–3 months, though the transition is tied to reaching the commission threshold rather than a fixed date
• Commission is based on cash actually collected

The structure is designed to reward long-term production and recurring revenue. Earnings grow as your book of active clients compounds; actual earnings depend on sales performance, client retention, and collected revenue, and are not guaranteed.

• Remote independent-contractor opportunity
• The role supports U.S. business owners and requires strong availability across core U.S. business hours, with approximately 8:00 AM–6:00 PM Eastern Time as the primary coverage window
• Sales opportunities may occasionally require responsiveness outside standard hours or on weekends — speed-to-lead and intelligent follow-up are important parts of the role
• Open to strong candidates in multiple locations, provided they can communicate at a highly professional level and consistently support the required U.S. coverage

Requirements

What We're Looking For / Must-Haves

• 3+ years of professional B2B sales experience, with meaningful responsibility for closing — not only setting appointments
• Demonstrated experience selling to business owners and navigating owner-led buying decisions
• Evidence of closing meaningful contract values; experience with $50K–$200K+ contracts is highly valued
• Strong command of consultative selling, objection handling, follow-up, and multi-touch closing
• High energy, strong executive presence, excellent verbal communication, and the ability to create trust and excitement on Zoom
• Excellent written English, including professional grammar, punctuation, and client-facing communication
• Strong urgency, resilience, competitiveness, ownership, and follow-through
• Ability to listen closely, ask strong diagnostic questions, adapt in real time, and confidently guide a sales conversation
• Comfort working independently in a performance-driven, entrepreneurial environment
• A stable professional track record is strongly preferred

Nice to Have

• Experience selling digital marketing, advertising, creative, web, SEO, paid media, or related agency services
• Experience selling into roofing, HVAC, plumbing, landscaping, construction, or other trade/home-service businesses
