Job Summary:
The Department of Criminology is looking for affiliate faculty to teach for Summer 2025 and potentially beyond. Candidate must be willing to teach super hybrid courses.Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Affiliate faculty will primarily teach upper division and/or required courses in the criminology department for our Bachelor of Science and Masters in Science degree programs. Classes are offered online and in-person in a hybrid format. Affiliate faculty members will be responsible for preparation, teaching and one hour per week dedicated for office hours.
Minimum Qualifications: ABD or Master’s degree in criminology, criminal justice or a related field from an accredited institution; Industry experience in cyber security, counter-terrorism, and/or law enforcement.
Preferred Qualifications: Ph.D. in criminology, criminal justice or a related field from an accredited institution; evidence of strong undergraduate teaching experience.

Benefits-eligible for workers’ compensation and will receive 1 hour of paid sick leave for every 30 hours worked, up to a maximum of 48 hours per year.
