The Opportunity
This opportunity is best suited for candidates in their penultimate/ final year of study looking for a 6- month co-op placement starting July 2025 and concluding December 2025.

Trader Solutions: As the energy transition accelerates, understanding short-term oil and gas markets is more critical than ever. Join our Traders Solution team as an Engineer specializing in short-term oil, gas and LNG markets. We are seeking a highly motivated and eager-to-learn Technical Co-op to join our team providing real time insight into the supply and demand of Oil, Natural Gas and LNG. Tech stack: Strong understanding of Python, Angular, SQL, .net/C# is a plus.
Carbon Management: The carbon mgt. team helps our customers make best-informed decarbonization decisions. Our flagship One-Lens application provides valuable insights into carbon capture, removal, transport, utilization and storage technologies that enables companies to understand and respond to energy transition across a wide range of value chains and commodities. For this team a srong understanding of Javascript/Typescript, Reactjs, SQL, GraphQL is a plus.
Hydrogen: The burgeoning hydrogen market is getting more attention than ever, and our team is creating innovative tools to help businesses analyze and model markets for hydrogen and its derivatives. We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Co-op to help the team build tools which will shape the hydrogen landscape., Tech Stack: Strong understanding of Typescript, Node -GraphQL and Python experience is a plus
About the role:
The experience will allow you to:
- assist in various technical projects and tasks
- gaining valuable hands-on experience in cloud methodology, data pipelines and energy industries.
As a Technical Co-op, you will collaborate with experienced engineers and developers to contribute to the success of ongoing projects, troubleshoot issues, and improve processes.
Requirements
Studying towards a Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field, with an industry placement.
Wood Mackenzie follows a hybrid work structure, however, during the duration of this internship, the successful candidate would highly benefit from being in the office frequently with the team and their line manager.
