The Role:

We are seeking an ambitious, experienced Director of Special Projects to lead the execution of a variety of growth oriented projects. We believe all patients deserve to receive the excellent clinical care that DaVita can provide so this role will be focused on projects that help DaVita become provider of choice and optimize the education we deliver to our patients in order to help them make informed insurance decisions. Through these efforts we hope to deliver treatment and mix growth and continue to help inform and advance our longer term strategy and technology roadmaps.

What will you do? 

Operational Excellence: 

  • Accountable to generating and executing on strategies that grow treatment volume and mix
  • Develop and manage project plans that enable, seamless execution on an ever-expanding list of growth ideas
  • Oversee research and facilitate discussions that continuously improve existing programs or generate innovative, new ideas
  • As an individual contributor, the ability to leads cross-functional workgroups and develop strong partnerships that enable us to reach shared goals is vital

Strategy / Problem Solving:

  • Ability to break down complex problems into digestible pieces and develop a robust approach to solve
  • Develops and understands the associated systems and support teams that directly impact our ability to educate patients and be provider of choice with referral sources
  • Strong overall athlete with ability to have an impact across a range of functions and discipline
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
  • Drives the strategic process on internal projects within the team and can articulate not only the problem to be solved but how it will be addressed through proposed solutions

Executive Communication:

  • Responsible for synthesizing numerous sources of data and critical analysis and translating into specific actions
  • Prepare and communicate insights, key milestones, recommendations, and summaries from analysis to executive leaders
  • Prepares executive-level presentations to share with leadership

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum of five (5) years of related experience required
  • Experience testing and implementing complex processes and supporting change management across a wide variety of stakeholders
  • Experience with strategic planning and implementation of large, complex new initiatives
  • Strong knowledge and experienced practice with process improvement and project management methodologies, techniques, and processes

Salary/ Wage Range

$110,100.00 - $161,700.00 / year

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
